The Biomedical Sciences undergraduate major provides a comprehensive background in Math and the Sciences. The Biomedical Sciences major prepares students for Medical, Graduate, and Professional Programs. These programs include Medical, Dental, Optometry, Allied Health, and Veterinary fields.
Current Texas A&M Students
Current students who are interested in changing their major to Biomedical Sciences (BIMS), Neuroscience – Translational and Preclinical Neuroscience Track (NRSC-TPC), or University Studies with a Veterinary Medicine Concentration (USVM) will be required to attend a change of major meeting during the semester in which they wish to change. Current High School or College Transfer Students
The CLAT Undergraduate Academic Advising office offers prospective student meetings throughout the year. These meetings are typically offered on Mondays and Fridays at 10:30 am virtually over Zoom. Prospective families – we encourage you to park at the MSC University Center Garage and use ROUTE 3, which stops at VIDI.
Parking – There is limited pay-by-the-hour visitor parking at VBEC in lot 24. We encourage families to park at the MSC University Center Garage and use ROUTE 3, which stops at VIDI.
Visitors can park at the Medical Science Library in Lot 72B. Lot 72B is a pay-by-the-hour lot. There are kiosks located in the parking lot that will take either debit or credit cards, no cash. You will need to note your parking spot number to enter it into the parking kiosk to pay for your parking spot. Then walk to the bus stop on Olsen Dr. ( across from the Wehner building) and take bur route 3 to VBEC, building VIDI, room 106
